Below are the simple stages to ordering your prescription from Specialist Pharmacy:
Your doctor will send your bespoke prescription to us. This may be for a single item, multiple items and may include repeats*.
* A ‘repeat’ means that your doctor has stated on the prescription how many times you may receive this medication before needing to see them again for a new prescription (it is usually two or three times). The medication label will always tell you how many repeats you have outstanding. A further label on your medication will flag when you have taken your last repeat.
You phone the pharmacy on +44(0) 20 7637 1055 when you need to order your medication. We will ask for your full name, date of birth and address. Please have your payment details to hand when calling us. Alternatively you can use the patient order form on our website to submit your details and we will contact you or Patient Portal to place your order online. If you have available repeats on your prescription, call us about one week before your medication runs out. If you have no repeats left, you will need to see your doctor and get a new prescription before any further medication can be dispensed to you.
Once we receive your order, our team will prepare your medication at the earliest opportunity Usually, we can dispense your unique prescription within 1 working day, although at busy times this could extend up to 3 days.
Upon fulfilment, your order will be dispatched in accordance with your instructions. Your medication will be sent by Royal Mail first class post as standard, but next day delivery and courier are available to suit your needs. The cost of your chosen dispatch will be added to your order.
Your prescription will have clear dosage instructions written on the medicine label. A leaflet with further information will be enclosed within the unmarked, sealed and padded delivery envelope, which is small enough to fit through your letterbox.
